An outstanding place to stay with the most welcoming and helpful owners

We have now been to stay here three times. It is always immaculately clean, and has everything you could possibly wish for. Andrea and Stuart are outstanding hosts, the food is superb and they go out of their way to help. It’s a peaceful location, and is warm and welcoming. It is always a real pleasure to stay here. Excellent in every way. We will be back.

A Perfect B&B in a wonderful location

I honestly can’t think of a better B&B I have stayed in in Scotland. The White Cottage is pretty much perfect. And the fact that it has a brilliant cafe as well just makes it even better. The rooms are great. The location is perfect for exploring the Black Isle and further afield. And the owners, Andrea & Stuart, are the ‘nothing is too much trouble’ type, which is why their business is so good. We’ll be back, again and again I hope.

Great!

Great Bed & Breakfast in the lovely setting of North Kessock. Comfortable and very clean rooms and facilities with an excellent breakfast. Good location for touring the Black Isle and just minutes from Inverness. Hosts, Andrea and Stuart were friendly and very helpful. A great stay with a great welcome. We are hoping to book and visit again very soon!!

I came back again & again & again.

I’ve dined in scores of Cafe’s on my Travels throughout the British Isles but I can categorically say I’ve never been to a better Cafe so I came back again & again & again.

It ticks 10/10 on every box; food, prices, cleanliness,  social distance, scenery,  but the most important quality is the personality, character &  warmth of the staff.

If the accommodation is  anything like the Cafe you’re in for a real treat. Not to be missed  as Andrea & Stuart are simply the Best. The village is also superb with a very friendly shop beside Cafe & amazing views of Inverness lit up over the water.

My Mom and I stayed

My Mom and I stayed for 5 nights. We used this lovely place as a base while we explored the area.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! We changed our plans one day so we could come back for lunch. Our host had fresh scallops on the menu for the day!
Easy access to Inverness, but very quiet and peaceful.

Miss you

We know you are closed at this present time and hope it isn’t putting too much strain on you. We’d just like to say we miss you,your lovely staff and food. Mike loves the salmon and prawn salad, my favourites are fish and chips and the tasty seafood fry-up,wonderful. Food

Visited again for lunch, have had takeaways too. As ever, good food ,good prices and lovely staff. Plenty of cleaning and distant ing where possible but still a friendly atmosphere. Well done…..

So comfortable

A fantastic place for a night or a week. The best bed, room ,welcome, wished I could have stayed longer but will be back. Lunch menu looked amazing. Thank you

A little gem

Highly recommend you visit the White Cottage, you wont be disappointed.

This is a gem of a place, beautifully situated on the front at North Kessock. It’s simple but clean appearance beguiles the wonderful and cosy interior where a very warm welcome awaits you.

Stuart is a superb chef, his food is amazing and always beautifully presented.

What are you waiting for, you certainly wont be disappointed.
